Fallen through the cracks

I have had no luck whatsoever with a new contract I have just taken up with MTN. After initially being sold a contract from Empowered Outsource Solutions (a telemarketer), I have encountered endless obstructions with porting my number and now, over a week after receiving my phone/contract I am still not able to receive phone calls, SMSs or access the internet - even though I have phone signal.

Although the MTN staff at Pavilion branch, Westville were helpful; every single department or technician they/ I have spoken to has not be able to help (after trying every possible solution) and my issue seems to have fallen through the cracks. Now having fallen out of the 7-day return/cancellation window, I basically have a useless phone - with no apparent solution.
