FAILURE TO UN-BLACKLIST DEVICE - TAKE 2 (4th week)
I filed a complaint on Hello Peter on 7 March. To that point I had been messed around for 10 days, and had been told by 4 Call Centre agents and 2 store assistants (at MTN) different advice re: un-blacklisting my device. I got a response on 8 March (REQ:*** ). The response told me to get an Affidavit and certified copy of my ID and email to a supp**** email address. I followed instructions and received an email saying that the documents were received, but I now actually now had to take documents in store. When I phoned my closest store I was told that I could bring them in to the store, and she would email them to Customer Services. Which is what I had already done. SO basically, I am going around and around in circles.
I eventually went into store on Saturday, 12 March - where I filled out yet another form and the assistant emailed the documents again. The reference number is ***9.
I have ALL reference numbers from all calls, emails and store visits. I have sufficient evidence to prove MTN is actively refusing to assist with un-blacklisting my phone, yet I am continuing to pay full contract rates. When and how do I black list this phone - its been three weeks now.
We are truly sorry for the inconvenience caused and for the breakdown in service experienced.
We can confirm that the device was un-blacklisted on the 14th of March 2016. The ITC reference number is ***1.
Once again we do apologize for the inconvenience caused and for the delay.
Regards
