FAILURE TO PREVENT AND ADDRESS *****

********** cell-phone contract was taken out in my name with MTN and R1 500 debited to my bank account. Reported matter via their website on 2021-03-03 and received automated response that they would contact me within 3 business days. They failed to do so. Follow up enquiry sent by me on 2021-03-08 and still no response or even the courtesy of an acknowledgement of receipt. My details were registered with SAFPS (an organization of which MTN is a member) before this ********** transaction and yet nobody at MTN made any effort to verify my identity as members of SAFPS are supposed to do. Very annoyed with MTN and their apparent indifferent attitude to this matter. I want this contract cancelled immediately!!!
