Failure to cancel contract
Took out a data contract and found it is not what I wanted on 28 Feb. Went ot MTN shop in Langeberg Mall. Mosselbay on 5 March where Valesco Bredenkamp confirmed that I could still cancel it.
Despite various emails and visits to the shop 3 months has passed without the contract being cancelled and my account is debited every month.
After complaining on hellopeter on 22 May I was asked to email the SIM card details to Valesco.
Now another month has passed and I am still waiting for the refund of the amounts debited to my account.
Seems to me MTN does not know how to cancel a contract.

24 Jun 2018, 20:21MTN still fails to refund me despite the promise above a month ago. It is today 24 June, 4 months later and I am still waiting. Can you get worse service than this?

29 Jun 2018, 09:25Another week passed and still nothing happened and seems to me MTN no longer responds to my complaint. Today is 30 June, another week passed without any action from MTN. Stay away from them.
