Failed SIM Swap

I bought an MTN SIM card in October 2019 at MTN in ****arney Mall. MTN decided to give me a recycled number. But as expected I had to bring my ID to have the aim card Rica'd at MTN ****arney. Used the sim card till now and then I misplaced it. I loaded 3 R200 airtime on the aim card before knowing that it was misplaced. Upon finding out, I then tried to do a sim swap. Which failed according to MTN and then I was advised to go to SAPS do an affidavit and certified copy. Which I did. Today, I get to the same MTN in ****arney to submit these documents, and I get the shock of my life. Khanyisile from the store tells me that she can't help me because the SIM card is not registered under my name. How does that happen MTN? With my R600 airtime? Now when I call 135 to get to RICA I'm told they can't check who the aim card belongs to. What were doing a Rica in the first place if this is the case? MTN you need to give me my airtime back. I'm done running around for this. Keep your number. Give me my airtime please. It's not my fault that you decided to give me a number that was previously used.
