Extremely poor customer service at MTN's Repair Centers

I have been a customer of MTNSA on a contract for almost 10 years now. We have had some good and bad experiences with the company, but we managed to cross the bridges and moved on. However the network provider in particular their repair center doesn't seem to take our services serious. I had just upgraded my service with the provider in May 2018, but one of the phones sent to me stopped working with no power at all. I then contacted the provided and was advised to take the phone to nearest store, which I did in August 2018. I was advised the phone will be sent to repair center, and that I will be contacted when it's ready for collection but no one ever called me until I went to the same store. The store contacted the center and advised me that the phone will be replac d due to factory fault. I was sent back and forth afterward spending a lot of money to go to the store very often, until eventually I was advised that my phone was part of the stock hijacked from the courier and that they will replace it. At one stage one consultant who claimed to have been dealing with many of the matters advised me to go to store and call him when am there, as he will instruct the store to give me other phone. But when I get to the store I was advised by his supervisor that he doesn't know what he was talking about. Typical of MTN consultants. Just to cut the long story short, I am still awaiting my phone and on top of it all I am losing my minutes every month as MTN takes back unused minutes and data. Let allowed the fact that I have already spent more than R2000 on fuel traveling from where I stay to the nearest MTN store, only to be told that there is no update yet. I even wrote formal complaint to them, and was advised of the turnaround time, but no one ever got back to me since. I am extremely disappointed with the provider that I have trusted so long that I spent almost 10 years in paying for 3 lines.

Reviewer Update
Good day Ayanda Thank you so much for responding to my earlier review. I really appreciate quick response after I posted my review. I clearly shows that MTN customers need to post these reviews form them to get prompt responses to their complaints. Your apology is noted, however I refuse to accept it as it does not resolve my problem. for your record, this matter have been going on for more than 6 months, and I have received the same response several times already with no delivery to the promises you have made. so I do not see any reason why I should give you more time, while I am still losing my airtime (minutes). All i request from MTN is for them to replace my phone as promised and also take into account the fact that I have lost minutes as the result of their own fault. Beside that, I am not willing to accept anything else. Regards
