Extremely Bad Service

My contract with MTN expired on 26 April 2015. I visit their store, on 23 April 2015, in Somerset West to arrange migration of the number to pay as you go.

Were told that it can only be arranged through their call center. Contacted the MTN call center and after NUMEROUS attempts and LONG waiting periods were told that they will mail me a migration form and that I have to fill it in and mail it back on the 26 of April 2015. Were also told that available air time and data bundles will be lost after the 26th.

I comp**** with all the instructions and receive a email receipt that MTN received and opened my email.

My request were ignored and I received a SMS on 2 May 2015 that my account has been credited with my monthly inclusive of a data bundle.

I would really like to know why MTN:
1. Does not inform their clients when their contracts expire and give them options to renew. Were done by Nashua Mobile.
2. Keep on charging clients for contract phones that were paid in full.
3. Make it extremely difficult to be contacted by most probably having the worst call center I ever had the misfortune to contact
4. Ignore their clients instructions after reading it.
