Expired MTN contr still not closed 2 years later

I just do not understand why MTN, after nearly 2 years of complaining still can't close my expired account as per my instruction 2 months prior to the expiry date.

After going back to the local Mtn where the account was cancelled 2 times, each with a different excuse on why the account has not been closed and money still being deducted without my authorisation, I had no other option as to force Mtn to reply to my requests by stopping the payment via my bank. This only resulted in my account being handed to the legal dept and again I explained what happened and still no conclusion to my problem. This was followed up with the legal department 3 times and now only have I decided to post my case on Hellopeter.

I think this is ******** that a large service provider casually do not follow instruction of a cancellation notice and without any confirmation continue with a contract past the 2 year agreement. I have received mails from legal as to my cancellation, but no follow-up afterwords. I have received e-mails from both Andre Bowden (legal) and Thulile Mayega (Mtn Retentions), without success. Now I find that I have been listed on ITC as well.
