excessive invasion of my privacy

I bought the internet data sim card 10+10- Gig on the MTN website. The Delivery company called me to request a copy of my ID and proof of residence ( if you buy a sim card in the supermarket, you only show these documents), but I was ok with this. I cannot accept requests for my fingerprints – that is a level of privacy that I use to access my bank account, etc. I can't give fingerprints to anybody except to SAPS, and with good legal reason. And all of this for R149 value of purchase. If this is an MTN request, which a phone conversation confirmed it is, that is an excessive invasion of my privacy, and I am refusing that. I asked MTN to return the money I paid for the data sim-only deal. I don’t want this deal anymore.
