I felt it was really important to take a moment to recognise Jodi Burton at your MTN Cape Gate store. After a very frustrating experience with an online upgrade that went completely wrong, I honestly felt exhausted and quite overwhelmed trying to get it sorted out. When I walked into the store, I was not expecting much — but then I was helped by Jodi. From the moment she assisted me, her attitude was different. She was kind, patient, and truly took the time to understand what I had been going through. She didn’t brush me off or pass me on — she stepped in, took ownership, and genuinely tried to help me. What stood out the most for me was how she made me feel. She turned what had been a really negative and stressful situation into a sense of relief. That kind of service is rare, and it meant a lot to me. After being an MTN customer for around 25 years, experiences like this remind me why people stay — because of people like Jodi.
