Empty promises by mtn
I've been a loyal customer of mtn for many years. August this year I went to mtn Pretoria cbd standard bank center, church street to apply for a data contract and it was approved . I was promised that I was going to receive data two days after the contract was approved. To my surprise I never received data. I went to the shop to ask why am I not receiving data, when they checked on the system they realised that the cell number entered was wrong and the sad part is the first debit order already went through last month for data that I did not receive and the next debit order is due in 3 days time which is unfair.It's been a month now since I have reported the matter and I ve been sent from pillar to post even their manager tried to intervene but it seems like he also failed. I app**** for this data contract as I was trying to cut the costs of buying data now and again because data is expensive. Am so emotionally drained by mtn

Ok we have deactivated the contract for cell ***. The contract will be activated again to the same package connected with the prepaid number *** connected with sim card number ***.
The data left on previous number *** will fall away and once activation is done for cell *** you will receive new allocations due to new activation date. Your first allocation will be prorated the next month you will receive the full allocation.
We will notify you once the package is activated and prepaid number and sim activated as number for life.
