EMPTY PROMISES AND ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL

I'm out of my 24 month contract and on the 25/5/15 i asked for my number tobe switch to pay as you go> this took until the 19/6/15 to actually happen. during which time i had NO way of making calls
. Because i would then have been charged for it at my old contract rates allowing them toi hold in contract for yet another month!
so now im pay as you go but if i check *141# the info shows as if im a contract phone again. the R180 air time i loaded is MISSING in cyber space and between facebook and there own consumer compalins line i have complained no less than 10 times each time i get a automated ref response or a reply in facebook saying they will be in contact BUT still no reply or HELP. ut they are still billing me for my contract which is LONG closed. this is now 7b week later how long mujst i wait MTN ???
Ref *** and *** MTN CHECK AND BACK TO ME ASAP....

Hello DeanBenson,

We are truly sorry for any inconvenience caused and for the breakdown in service experienced.

We've perused the account and see that the additional invoice that was generated for the month of June 2015 was credited with an amount of R272.27. There will be further debits submitted as your last invoice (May 2015) for the amount of R653.58 was debited on the 30th of June 2015.

Remember when migrating your number over to prepaid, its the same process as a cancellation/deactivation of the contract. All services are then immediately stopped.

We have however requested the airtime amount of R180.00 to be credited to your non expiry wallet and you will be able to use it at your discretion.

Regards
Tim
