Empty promises!

I have 3 numbers that are under contract with MTN. I went to the MTN Eastgate store in to upgrade my phone and my wife's phone in March and because I wanted the latest Samsung, I was told to return in April when the Samsung Galaxy S8 would be available. On the 2nd of May 2017 I went back to the MTN Eastgate store and was told that the phone was available. I was told by an employee by the name of Sibusiso Ngwenya that I would get a good contract and some benefits as I had not used any of my talking points. He told me that the first 3 months of my contract would be free. I was then approached by a black female who introduced herself as the manager and was told that no employee was authorised to give free months without getting authorisation from head office. I explained to her that I had already signed the contract with Sibusiso stating that I would get the 3 months free. She said that she would discuss it with head office and get back to me. After 3 days and no contact, I went back and spoke to the manager and she said that she was struggling to get a hold of head office.

We were on the phone for 22 minutes trying to get through to head office and eventually our call got cut. She told me that she would make sure that head office gets hold of me regarding the issue.

MTN has since debited my account with the full amount and no discount was given.

I am very unhappy!!
