Empty N Promises

MTN one of the most useless time wasting telecoms company is South Africa. I recently had an issue with my data bundles, I log a query, its been over a month no response, I called back several times and everyone I speak to tells me the query is still open, so I jus leave it as I cannot constantly sit on the phone and speak to *********** staff. Yesterday I decide to go an upgrade but this can't happen because I owe money on a contract that was paid and closed 5 years ago, since then I've upgrade twice with no issues now I owe them money, I have not received a call or invoice for this so call account in 5 years, to top it all off they did not apply my last payment to my active accounts until the end on February now it shows that i was a month behind on my profile although payments were made on time, they report this info to the credit bureaus who then drop your score which affects your entire credit profile, you start to pay higher interest rates on products and may even be declined for credit. I will be cancelling both my contract with MTN, i'm a few months away and it will be the happiest day in my life :)
