Earning decent salary not good enough for MTN

My MTN package is billed to my father, since he started the account for me when I was still at school. I tried switching it over to my own account, as I'm adult now, and been working for more than 2 years now. My account is only R720 a month, and MTN will not approve this amount.

I would understand if I had a bad credit record, but I don't. I have been paying a home loan and a car for over a year and a half. MTN cannot give me an explanation as to why I am not approved for a contract of only R720 per month.

Now I am inconvenienced having to repay my father every month only for him to repay MTN. This just doesn't make sense.

On the other hand my husband got his first contract with MTN before he even had a job. This doesn't even make sense. Other familily members that are not even employed gets called with additional contracts being offered to them, while I earn a decent salary but MTN cannot even grant me R720 per month without any explanation.

Absolutely ridiculous!!
