DSV Doesn't want to accept my temporary ID or even a copy for delivery

Good day. I app**** for a contract which got approved. Dsv called me this morning. I told them I only have a temporary ID as I lost the original. They still require the original for delivery. What can I do in this situation. As I have a copy of the original but they won't accept I have been trying too contact mtn without success. I require some resolution.
