dstv mobile never works in a 3g area

I purchased a subscription to dstv mobile from mtn. The problem now is whenever I try to watch a channel, it keeps on loading and shows nothing. I have tried in different areas that I get 3g coverage but still nothing. The service is such a rip-off. Maybe mtn should stop expanding into new countries and focus on providing a proper service in the markets it is already in!
