Double Debits
MTN debited R1,347.88 which was incorrect the correct amount that was suppose to be debited was R683.03. Because i had only the correct amount of money in my account the money returned unpaid and my bank charged me R115.00 for a mistake MTN made cause of insufficient funds. When i queried with MTN i got a sms saying there was an error on MTN side they double debited my account. Because MTN double debited my account and knowing my account was not paid cause of insufficient funds as a good customer i am i did a eft to MTN for R700.00 on the 06/09/2017. Then on the 07/09/2017 MTN refunded me R671.63. Which ment MTN accounts department does not no what they doing cause I had to redo a payment of R683.03 on the 11/09/2017 because MTN suspended my account. Now i thought the mess is sorted but no i am getting messages from MTN to pay R683.03.

We apologize for the inconveniences that you have experienced. We completely understand the frustration it causes.
As per our conversation. You said that MTN double debited your account for the amount of R1,347.88 however due to insufficient funds, we did not get any money. You then deposited R700 in to your MTN Acc. this was not picked up immediately therefore we paid R1,330.70 in to your account. You then deposited back into your account RR683.03, staying with an amount of R647.88. This is the reason you have a balance of R647.88 that needs to paid back into your MTN Account.
You current outstanding amount is R647.88, hope all is order.

Above means R0.00 went anywere!!!!
2nd Sep Standard bank charges me RTD fees R115.00 on my bank account
(MTN must pay me back for this it was MTN error)
My line suspended
6th Sep I did EFT R700.00 from my account to MTN
Above means now instead of paying R683.03 i paid more, i paid R700.00
Now i have a credit balance of R16.97 with MTN
(THIS EXCLUDES THE R115.00 MTN OWES ME FOR BANK RTD CHARGERS )
7th Sep Refund from MTN R671.63 to my account
Now this means MTN credited my account R671.63
so take the R700.00 i paid - R671.63 = R28.37
Which means I have a credit of R28.37
Now take my September 2017 original amount of R683.03 minus my credit R28.37 = R654.66
and R654.66 is what i owed MTN now
11th Sep I did EFT R683.03 from my account to MTN
This means instead of me paying R654.66 i paid extra I paid R683.03
Which now means I i have a MTN credit of R28.37
(THIS EXCLUDES THE R115.00 MTN OWES ME FOR BANK RTD CHARGERS )
