Double charged on contract! Deceptive MTN

About a month ago I wrote a review here about mtn's pathetic call centre that left me on hold for over 40 mins. Mtn management responded to the review saying that call centre management would contact me regarding the complaint. Till today I have not been contacted by mtn (I assume they just put a phony apology up and pretended to be taking action for all those who would read my negative review of their service)

Today I face a much more serious problem with this lousy network. I signed up for the R150pm black friday 50gb special. Contract and advert very clearly stated R149pm for 24 months. 1 month into the contract I've been billed R389 and had been cut off temporarily from the network. Call centre as useless as ever (saying the contract is R210pm even though my contract right in front of me says otherwise).

Contacted the mtn store in Westwood mall where I signed the contract. Guess what? Their systems are offline AGAIN (!) and they cannot assist.

Either Mtn has *********** staff in their billing department or they're damn ******, deceiving the public with misleading adverti*****ts and hidden contract clauses.

Will definitely be taking this up with the Consumer commission.

MY ADVICE, ONCE AGAIN, TO EVERYBODY IS DON'T SIGN UP WITH THIS ***********, POORLY RUN CIRCUS.

SAVE YOURSELF THE HEARTACHE OF FIGHTING AGAINST MTN'S ****************. ONE CAN ONLY WONDER HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE BEING BILLED INCORRECTLY BY MTN.

PS: seems to me like this black friday mtn special was just a gimic. won't be roped in to any of their twisted adverts again.
