Double billed and numberless

I'm not sure why MTN insists on turning me into a person who complains all the time. This is now the third Tim I am complaining in 2 weeks. Both complaints were acknowledged but nothing was actually done.

I was on a contract with MTN. Last month I settled my account and went over to prepaid. On the 1st of the month MTN deducted a further R1000 which has not yet been refunded. I have also been trying to port my number over to Vodacom because of signal issues with MTN in my area. MTN refuses to allow me to port my number but has no good reason. Legally, MTN can only refuse port for four reasons; none of which apply to me. I would like my money and my number please. As soon as possible. I have called the MTN call centre numerous times but they say they have no authority to assist. I was told to go to an MTN shop but the nearest store is a 2 hour drive away and I'm not doing the trek only to be told they can't help me either.
