Don’t go with MTN data contracts ever !

I took out a MTN business data contract. I was paying R1000 a month. My contract ended and I never receive an email to let me know. I was travelling overseas for work purposes. I was charged an extra R1500 per month so instead of paying R1000 per month - I paid R2500 a month. This is a data contract that is used in a router so I would never get an sms to let me know that my contract was ended and would be charged a different rate. I find this very disturbing and daylight *******. I have never been unhappy with the service but to charge a 150 percent more out of contract is day light *******. I wouldn’t recommend MTN after this experience. Please be careful if you have a MTN contract. When I was with Vodacom - out of contract they just continued to charge the same rate but extremely disappointed in MTN given that they sold me the contract with router and could have had the decency to email me to let me know that they out of contract rate is 150 percent more per month.
