Don’t ever join MTN you’ll regret it

A prepaid number, that we have had for 12 years has been blocked with no notification and we urgently need the number unblocked for security reasons. I called MTN from a contract phone and they advised that I need to call with a prepaid number. I told them I don’t have another prepaid number and ask if they can put me through to the correct department and they advised me that they cannot transfer me.

This is horrific servicing on MTN’s part. I asked an MTN consultant to please get in contact with some from the prepaid department to help me and she advised me that she cannot help me. I pushed to say if they can help me then who can. She lost interest and told me someone would call me. No one called. I called two more times looking to get put through to the manager but still nothing.

It’s terrible service that no one tells you about. Please do yourself a favour and never get into business with MTN a company that will happily take your money but when you contact them for assistance they won’t come through for you. I was due for an upgrade and will not be upgrading with MTN.
