Don't bother yourself with joining MTN, they do not take their customers serious

Before you think of buying an MTN locked phone, just think of the torture you will endure when you want tour phone to be unlocked after using the phone for the year. I have been using my phone for 2 years now, and to date (after countless calls to their call centre), my phone is still MTN locked🤬 I first made a request for my phone to be unlocked in December 2022, I have been taken back and forth regarding this(the consultans always say they will refer the matter to their supervisors and that i should expect a call, to this day, no supervisor has returned my call. I called in again last night to get feedback regarding the matter and to my surprise; I was told the query has been completed. Completed how when I still don't have full control over my phone? It's even worse now with loadshedding, I can only use my phone just for few hours a day because the phone locks itself even when the signal is weak. MTN, ke eng ka lona? I stayed true to our agreement, I used the phone for the whole year on your network, now why are you not honouring your side of our agreement? Now my life should be on hold, why do you lie to us so much? I am not supposed to be struggling to leave your network, now you are forcing me to stay with you guys. Unlock my phone !!! Last night I was promised a call from the supervisor, I am still waiting😩 , I don't want to hear anything anymore, I am done begging you to do right by me, bulang phone ya ka😡
