Don't Trust MTN LTE Promotions
I really did not want it to come to this but I can take it anymore.<br> <br> A few weeks ago when I tried to make a call the MTN voice came up and said that I have bad signal and it must be due to I have an LTE Handset but not an LTE Sim and then nothing happened. The voice said that get YOUR LTE SIM now from an MTN store and get 500mb data free.<br> <br> I eventually got an LTE Sim and was told I need to call 173 to sim swap.<br> <br> During this I got an SMS telling me to Swim Swap I can sms them and then they gave me a PIN that lasted 15min and I did this and send to sms and got a reply saying \Your request for Sim Swap has been processed. We will update you with the status of the request. Thank You"<br> <br> I waited and nothing happened so called and was assisted with the sim swap.<br> <br> But a few days later I still did not receive my Free 500mb data so I called in"

We have now checked on the request that was logged on your behalf and we see that it was closed with comments stating that our provisioning team was awaiting confirmation from our Marketing Department for the 500MB data bundle incentive to be released.
We've just done a follow up on the request to confirm the date the 500MB data bundle incentive will be released.
