DOES THE MTN LEGAL DEPARTMENT EXIST????

I have been trying to start a new contract but am told that I can't as my account is with Legal, since 2021. The reason why it is with legal is because I cancelled an offer within the cooling off period, but was still charged an early termination fee. I have proof of the agent I dealt with confirming that I cancelled within the cooling off period yet this was not noted on the system.

Now I'm told legal, which I've been trying to contact since December to no avail, needs to remove my account from the old system. None of the MTN agents at the service centres or franchises can get a hold of them (legal department) and I can't start a new contract as a result.
