Does MTN even care about its clients?

On Saturday morning, 15th Oct, I experienced an attempt to hack my cellphone number and immediately reported it to the MTN ***** line. I received an automated response which gave me a reference number and a message saying I would be contacted shortly. I have received no further response from MTN. Why bother to have a ***** line if they don't seem to care?
