Do not sign up with MTN !

I am absolutely disgusted in MTN, and would warn any potential client to join them, they do not care about their customer after they got the contract signed. After you got your contract you are on your own. I got my S9 with MTN 2 years ago, at the time of getting my contract I gave the consultant at Northgate my debit date which he put in incorrectly, sounds like a simple mistake and an easy fix well not when you dealing with MTN, and so the journey of disaster began of making the worst choice of joining MTN, So naturally I thought ok well let me go to the store that I got my phone from, I said I am getting emails that my debit orders is not going through, and explained that it is because they have set it on the wrong date. All I got was , we can not assist in store, was told to call their customer care line, so I did, was then told no they can not help, I must got to the store... this is just a month after I got my phone, I later went to Clearwater MTN and got the same response and no willingness to help at all, I called the call centre and got the same response to go back to the store , this back and forth of passing the buck. I eventually got the customer care email, someone started to respond, I was told they will move the date for the debit order, which for 6 months was not done , even though I followed up with emails back and forth each month. It does not stop there now where my contract that I signed for was supposed to be R500.00 pm it had jumped to R800.00 pm , due to the fact that my debit orders did not go through, as they just did not bother to update the debit order, now I must pay for it. When I emailed their so called Customer "care" team they just said , we charging you more as it is on a cash payment now.... And well it never got fixed. When the day came for my contract to end, With out confirming with me, after a said I do not want to upgrade, they decide on a package for me, which was R300.00 pm. After all this I was more then ready to cancel and move over to Vodacom. So I go to the store at Clearwater and ask how I can cancel so I can move over to Vodacom as I am very unhappy with MTN, all I got was they can not help me in store. As expected, their customer service is nullenvoid. I actually got advice from a consultant at Vodacom as to how I can go about it. I called MTN to cancel, that took 2 weeks after a few calls back and forth for them to cancel and then I had to wait a month and I was done with MTN, or so I thought... I cancel**** my contract in December and was ok untill recently in February I got an email from them with a Tax invoice, so they have decided to debit my account, and have done so for the past 3 months, So I email their customer care team, and explained that I am no longer a customer of theirs and would like a refund on my debit orders and find out why I am being debited, still no response on email, I tried calling their customer care team, after multiple failed attempts to get hold of their customer care line , I tried calling the store at Clearwater, I was fustrated at that point, could of handled it more calmly, but instead of helping me, they hung up the phone and when I called back, a lady answered and spoke to me uprubtly , and said if you cancelled a month ago, when I tried to explain I cancelled In December, instead of listening, she said mem listen to me you canceled a month ago, as I kept trying to say no, I cancelled in December she just said can you hear me repeatedly even after I said I could, was absolutely disgusting service. So here I am with money being taken out o f my account even though I do not have a contract with them... And I am out of ideas to get through to them. I just want my money back
