DO NOT ORDER MTN HOME INTERNET FROM MTN COS THEY WILL SEND YOU A ROUTER AND SIM THATS NOT ACTIVE AFTER DEBITING YOU AND YOU WILL WALK THROUGH HELLFIRE FOR THEM TO ACTIVATE IT WHILE STILL HOPING TO DEBIT YOU FOR THE NEXT MONTH FOR SOMETHING THATS NOT ACTIV

I ordered the MTN home internet subscription for R499 on mtn.co.za online, on the 15th of January, they delivered on the 17th but guess the shocker, they delivered it inactivated, when I took it to an MTN store they said to give 24hrs, after 24hrs, still nothing, meanwhile they have debited my account for R700 on the 15th immediately I ordered but delivered me a not so new inactive router with sim. I called the customer care on the 18th and they gave me an excuse of the person who handled my order didn't close it, so they will close it and the sim card will be activated and i should give 24hrs but guess what, today is the 25th and i have been calling MTN all day and its the same story, so i ask MTN, how hard can it be to activate a router if its so easy to deduct R700? What kind of gross incompetence is this?

Its the 25th today, and still nothing. I have also called them today and guess what, its always same excuse, and they are hoping to debit me again on the 15th of next month when for 10days i haven't even used the subscription i paid for for one second of a second.

They gave me this reference number Req*** which is as useless as the P in psychology cos they never do anything, they tell me they are gonna refer me to the relevant department but dololo, they come back with excuses. What kind of **** are you people perpetrating at MTN South Africa?

Please refund my money and send your delivery people to come take your useless router or activate my sim and router so i can use what i bought for that you have already debited for.

Is it rocket science to activate a simple router and sim card on your system? How hard can it be if its so easy to debit money from my account?

This level of incompetence is shocking, annoying, stressing, frustrating and baffling.
