DO NOT INSURE YOUR PHONE WITH MTN

My phone's screen was cracked and I submitted a claim with MTN insurance, on the 5th of November their courier company CurierIT collected my phone. I called every week since the 5th to enquire about my phone, each time there was a problem. First, they had to wait for an LED screen, which took 2 weeks. Then when I called on the 3rd of December, almost a month later they tell me the phone is irreparable and I have to pay and additional excess fee to get a replacement phone. I have to wait AGAIN to get that phone.

Honestly, MTN insurance is the worst. In 2018 the same thing happened where I had to wait for almost 7 weeks to get a replacement phone. Why pay insurance if you will make your clients wait?

I can't wait until my contract is over so I can move networks!
