Distribution of Personal Information to 3rd Party Companies

Today I was contacted specifically on Whatsapp by a Lady by the name of Zuki Constance from a Trading company called Comcapital (I am unsure if this is even a real company) trying to get me onto the trading work with the promise of "making enough profits after seven days of trading". I then asked how she got my number, initially she just rep**** that she got it from a telecommunications company, when I pressed further on who, she said from MTN. Hence the review, I am not an MTN customer, I am with CellC and I would like to know how and why MTN is giving my number out to 3rd party companies which is a violation of the POPI Act. I also have screenshot proof of the conversation I had with Zuki. so please MTN, get in touch
