Dispute on Bill

Utterly Disgusted: I could not go on the internet if my bundle was depleted. I could not
phone my husband outside SA if i did not have airtime on. I loaded data myself for months. I even requested that MTN put a limit on my account the day that I upgraded.
Why a huge bill then if I controlled the data? HOW IS IT POSSIBLE TO GET A HUGE BILL IF I ALWAYS HAD TO LOAD DATA ON BOTH MY ACCOUNTS???? THIS DOES NOT MAKE ANY SENSE. Surely MTN should be able to see the difference. MTN clearly does not hear what I am trying to explain.
Open account?????? Nonsense!!!
If my account was open as MTN say then why did I load data or airtime???

Stop sending me ****py reports saying - We sincerely hope that the above is in order and that we are able to restore your faith in us. FAITH WILL ONLY BE RESTORED ONCE MTN LISTEN TO ME AND GIVE ME A PROPER EXPLANATION.

Hello MadeleinGover,

We are truly sorry for any inconvenience caused and for the delay with the matter being resolved.

We have now perused your account and see that a number of investigations were done. The investigation done on the 30th of March 2016 confirmed that the charges were valid.

The number ending with 7204 is a Broadband account and no SUL can be set, therefore any charges over are correct. Any additional usage generated after your data bundle has been depleted will be charged over and above at the out of bundle rate that is linked to your package.

The number ending with 6596 had no SUL set and it was only set recently after you've enquired about the charges.

The matter was referred back to the store Manager and was requested to close off the matter amicably with the agent that assisted you in store.

The URL reports that were sent to yourself is proof of the usage and the usage is retrieved directly from the network.

Regards
Tim
MTN Complaints Management Team

Best regards,
