Dishonest Sales Reps

Signed a new contract with MTN last week. While speaking on the phone I asked several times if I would be able to keep my phone number and was told yes, I can do a sim swap once I receive the new phone.

After receiving the new phone, it turns out I cannot do the sim swap because my previous number was prepaid and the new one is contract (that's what the call centre agent told me).

Sold a product under false pretenses. Completely ********* behaviour
