Dishonest MTN

On 13 May 2024 I phoned 135 to upgrade my cellphone contract. I specifically wanted a Huawei phone that was able to support Google Play, etc. I had the Honor in mind as I know it does have all the Google apps. When I spoke to the person (Daniel?) in the 135 Upgrade Department, he suggested the Huawei Nova Y72. I specifically asked him if it had all the Google apps and he emphatically confirmed that the Nova Y72 had all the Google apps. When I received the phone, I realized that it didn't have the most important Google app, Google Play! I went to MTN Hemmingways branch (East London) and spoke to the Huawei specialist there and was told that they have Gbox that has the Google apps, which it does, but they don't work properly and keep on closing in the middle of searching etc. I thought I'd stick it out and give it a chance, but to no avail. All in all this is not what i signed up for. I am terribly disappointed with #MTN @MTN! Absolutely no work ethic and totallt dishonest.
