Disgusting Service From Edwin and Tamara Naidoo from MTN

I am writing this email with utmost disgust and great frustration as MTN has become a disgusting nuisance in my life for the past six months.

It started in January when I called in to get the amount it would take to cancel the two lines out of the four lines that we had with MTN, we were first given the incorrect amounts but that was later sorted and paid cancellation fees for two lines.

After paying the cancellation fees, they still proceeded to debit my accounts with for the lines that I paid to cancel, this went on for about three months. After that time after being sent from pillar to post by the retentions team, we were promised a refund that took about three weeks to be processed, eventually this refund was paid to me and the three lines were now cancelled instead of two, be that as it may, I thought my problems are over as my lines are cancelled and my money is paid back, when June came now they debited a record breaking R2800 from my account, this is after I was told by Tamara Naidoo and Edwin in the retentions call center that I will only have R400 debited from my account.

I then went to 14th Avenue at the MTN offices and spoke to Zolile Mafu, this was on the 20th Of June and he told me that he will escalate this for us but up to now, there has not been any update and when I call the MTN customer service, I get ridiculous customer service from consultants that do not even know how to speak to customers. Zolile confirmed to me and my husband that we can reverse the debit and this will be escalated

It has been a very frustrating issue for me, I hardly escalate things as I always let things slide but I have had enough of what has been going on and urgently need to this resolved as my husbands phone line is suspended and my credit score is under threat. I called Edwin and Tamara today and they told me that there is nothing hey can do as this issues lies with billing, I am sick and tired of speaking to MTN and now need to someone to intervene and sort this nightmare out.
