DISGUSTING SERVICE 0 out of 10!!!!!

How many calls to the call centre, emails to Retensions Dept and complaints on HelloPeter.com does it take for MTN to realise that they have a serious problem where customer service is concerned???? I suppose that is debateable.

On 28-12-15 I called the call centre to migrate my # *** on expiry of he contract which is 30-1-2016, was told to call on 30-12-15, which I did and was told it could not be migrated as there was a balance outstanding. Note: debit order due 1st and paid 2-1-2016
31-12-15 and 4-1-16 email sent to retensions, automated response recieved
5-1-16 email recieved from Mmapula Maleba saying sim card not active, and I should call MTN call centre (808)
5-1-16 call centre consultant Lindokuhle unable to assist, reverts me back to retentions
5-1-16 Rhulane Makhosana says I must resend the request 30-1-2016. WHY???? When my contract expires on the 30 and a 30 day notice period is required??

I swear the left hand does not have a clue as to what the right hand is doing.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, sort out you consultants and your rules.
If it is the last thing I do, I will ensure that all my acquaintances, relatives and friends are aware of the bad service. !!!!

Hello CherylTN,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.

Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused. Kindly note that Prepaid migration does not need 30 days notice. A request is send through from the day of expiry as migration is processed immediately and only takes a couple of days for your number to be on Prepaid on your side.

Rest assured that it is not our intention to displease you and we look forward to continue improving on our service delivery to you.

Kind Regards
Itumeleng
