Disgusting Annual Price Increase. Poor revenue planning.

<p>I have just received the MTN annual price review notification.</p> <p> </p> <p>I am horrified....</p> <p> </p> <p>Contract out of bundle rates have increased on average 35%. Is there anyone in the MTN finance department that is capable of preparing an accurate revenue budgete that spans past a one year period. Did nobody think it prudent to look a few years ahead when budgeting MTN's revenue flows?</p> <p> </p> <p>To ditch such a ridiculous increase onto an already strained consumer market shows absolute lack of foresight. I'm sure you need the money (Nigerian fines perhaps) but were you not able to plan ahead better?</p> <p> </p> <p>Wow. You are going to lose many, many customers. Whoever was the "brains" trust behind this price review had better do some damage control.</p> <p> </p> <p>To quote your pricing mail " MTN has revised its current pricing and amended some of its offers to ensure that it remains relevant and competitive." Competitive, maybe. Relevant, definitely. The negative kind unfortunately, sort of like Enron, ***ushima and Nkandla are relevant...</p> <p> </p> <p>I have been with you for almost 20 years MTN, and sadly our relationship looks all but over. Not because of your pricing, but because of your pompous consumer-crushing behaviour.</p> <p> </p> <p>Good luck.</p>
