Disgusted with the Service

My contract with Mtn expired in May round about the same time there was a strike i called them 30 days prior to find out if i should give notice i was told that i shoul call on the day the contract cancel. I then called on the 13th of May and was told that it will be done and was assure that the last payment will be deducted in May. Then During the monrths of June they started debitting my account and no coomunication that they will debit i went to the bank and reversed it again in July the same thing happend and i had to reverse it agan and it happend again in August and September. Being frustarted i tried calling the call centre but no-one could assist me and did not reverse the September premium all relevant notes was done and i was told and assured that no premiums will be deducted once my contract has been cancelled. This is really frustrating and also giving me a bad credit record everytime i go and reverse a payment that was not meant to be deducted i want my money refunded and want this to be sorted out am really unhappy with Mtn and have been a loyal client for more then 10 years (***)<br>

Hello Tai-one,

Thank you for your post.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced with our service.

The contract has expired 13-5-2015, the line has been converted to pre-paid 2-7-2015. The account balance on the 1-5-2015 before the contract has been cancelled R515.45.

We do pick up that the credit for R186.54 has been passed and will be allocated to the account. On invoice E*** calls and internet usage has been made after you have requested for the line to be cancelled and converted to pre-paid.

Kind Regards,

Alice van der Merwe
