Disgusted with call center and supervisors

Totally disgusted with MTN call center!!! I am writing this on behalf of a friend who "thanks to MTN" has had no internet service (therefore no Facebook either) since last Saturday. She upgraded her data contract to WiFi in February. The contract is a 20/20 gig. For the first 2 months everything worked perfectly. Last Saturday she no longer could access the internet (data depleted screen comes up). First call to 808. Sorry but you have used up all your data (roll over date is the 14th). Not possible, can not use 20 gig of data in 6 days, as it is only used for emails and Facebook. Sorry but you only get 10 gig and you have used it. Took a drive to the MTN branch where the contract was taken out. Definitely a 20/20, and also being charged for this. The consultant who did the contract checks and logs a ticket with head office. Up until now still no internet and the "bull****, lies" and attitude of the call center staff as well as their supervisors is totally unacceptable. We have by now more than half a dozen reference numbers and the following excuses: "your data was loaded but you have used it" (from Saturday to Monday). Still trying to work that out as we CAN'T access the internet. "You have to go back to the branch they never logged a ticket." Bull we saw the consultant log the call and this consultant has been trying to resolve the issue in all manner possible. "Your data will be loaded in 24 hours." "Yes there was a problem, but we need to issue a ticket to load the data." "You will only get your new data on the 14th." We don't want the new data, but the one which has already been paid for. "We don't understand the instructions on the screen, it is to vague." "We don't have a copy of your contract, you need to go to the branch and fax it to us." These are the responses from the call center and supervisors to date. When is this going to stop? How can they bill for something they don't have. This mass only happened in April with the VAT increase. Not a single person at MTN (except the consultant at the branch who also gets no support from head office whatsoever) is interested in sorting out this matter and no one is accountable for it either. It is always the branches fault. My friend has now reached a point where she will take the following steps: stop the debit order, cancel the contact, contact the MTN ***** line as MTN is in breach of contract and has ****** her data and finally lay a charge of theft against MTN at her nearest police station!
