Disgusted service from MTN

So I needed a sim swap on one of my contract lines. On Friday 5th of July 2019 I rushed off after work to catch the MTN shop closest to my office still open which I managed to get there in time. The shop in question was the MTN Shop at Dainfern Square in Fourways...

Heres my complaint: I approached the MTN consultant who's name was Dineo with I smile and friendliness as always as I am usually a very bubbly person. I requested she assists me with a sim swap, firstly she asked what happened to the sim card to which I rep**** it was misplaced, then to my disgust she refused to help me and told me I need to produce an affidavit from the police, a certified copy of my ID and a proof of residence. This is all brand new news to me as I have done many sim swaps in my life and not once have I ever been asked so rudely for these documents. First of all I am the title on the account, my name printed in big bold at the top of the document, I had my drivers license as identification, secondly I could have produced biometrics if asked, thirdly I could have announced my MTN pin if asked, my address is printed on the statement which should be proof enough, what more do they want from me? Blood Type? HIV status?

I was highly ****ed off by the way this Dineo treated me, she didn't follow any normal procedures she was just hostile from the moment I walked in, she didn't even ask if it was a contract or prepaid sim card she was JUST not interested in assisting me, maybe I interrupted her personal texting session?

I have been a faithful Contract Client with MTN since 2002, I currently have four active contract lines with MTN and spend well over three grand a month with you..

Nonetheless!!!! I received satisfactory service on Saturday morning form the MTN Shop at Village Mall Hartebee****rt Dam, I walked in, requested a sim swap, just the usual questions were asked and 10mins later I walked out with my replacement sim card and a smile... BIG UPS to MTN Shop Harties.. Thank You for being professional and helpful, as I would expect from business to client in all circumstances. I really don't think this is the way Dineo from MTN Shop in Dainfern Square should be assisting your clients, I truly feel she needs to be dealt with professionally, I myself is an HR Manager and trust me in my line of business I would be dealing with such a complaint very seriously..
