Disgusted by the bad Service at Canal Walk MTN
After 17 years and I am terribly disgusted by the Service I received from the MTN store in Canal Walk Cape Town on the Top/Upper Level today 08/10/2015. I walked in there after 16:00pm to do an upgrade to the new Hauwei P8. The Sales Consultant by the name of Darren or Darrel confirmed that the phone I wanted was in stock after he took 15 minutes in the store room. I have been told to take a seat on a very hard bench and in the meanwhile a Hauwei Staff member approach me to give me a 3 minutes rundown of the specifications of the phone, and that it comes with a Free Blue Tooth Headset, excited I am to upgrade while Darren or Darrel disappeared without a trace. Customers who entered the store after me had been helped and left while I was waiting for assistance. Let me add that I cancelled my Business meetings to do the upgrade. I walked up to another Sales Consultant whose name I can't remember who told me he doesn't know about my contract upgrade but can assist me right away since I am now in the store for almost one hour. I told him that the level of Service I received today has changed my mind that I would rather want to cancel my contract. I am now officially done with MTN.
