My mother upgraded at MTN at the end of August, but could not complete the upgrade in store because her fingerprint does not match with their system. My mother is 60 years old, so obviously her fingerprints is not the same as it was when she was younger. The store then told her to do the upgrade online to deliver the phone, but again when the phone was delivered they required her fingerprint but the prints did not match. My mother tried to explain to them numerous times that her fingerprints does not match with their system because she is 60 years old and her fingerprints isn't the same as when she was younger. In the meantime my mother still does not have the phone but MTN have already deducted monies from her account.

It seems like MTN have made a decision that no elderly person or people whom have scars on their thumbs or got their thumbs amputated may not get a contract with them anymore. It is sad to see a major company discriminate like this.
