Disconnected from calling service for 8 days!

MTN customer care is nothing but customer care! I would call it customer scare. I have been disconnected from the calling service on my number for the past 8 days! I had requested for sms roaming sevice when I travelled out of the country on 13 December. Nonetheless, the sms roaming did not work. On my return to the country on the 27th of December I called MTN to have the sms roaming service de-activated. What I got then was the sms service re-instated but the calling service de-activated. I have been calling and writing to MTN customer service since then with a promise that your issue will be resolved in 2-48hrs. For goodness sake MTN, it has been 8 days now and each time I'm told your issue has been escalated. No, apology and no compensation for that matter. I've been a loyal customer for more than 10 years and I'm seriously considering cancelling my contract and moving to other better service providers
