Disappointments from MTN

in September I received my monthly statement from MTN which showed that R1600 is due. on the day of the debt order R1800 went of from my bank account I then queried this and MTN informed me that it was self service ... firstly I have no idea how to activate this self service I have emailed MTN asking them for possible a SMS or an email or anything in writing that shows proof that I went and actually activated this self service I have always known to pay the amount for both my contract phones and only the minutes sms's and data , I am still waiting for this proof where I actually went and activated this ******* myself. then secondly I have requested that instead of debt order I rather pay via EFT. I called the call centre in this week and they said that it was still showing debt order I then called again. and then the call centre agent change it and informed me that an SMS will e sent to me confirming that its now EFT but no sms was recieved after more than 24 hours and no SMS has been received..

Hello Shavon07,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

I am terribly sorry for the inconveniences experienced as a result this. I completely understand the frustration it causes. According to our records a credit has been passed on your account and the payment method has been changed to EFT.

Rest assured, it is not our intention to displease you. We look forward to improving on the service delivery to you.

Best regards
Mantoa
