Disappointing MTN Policies costing me twice

I have an MTN Anytime 200 contract. I've been with MTN since before 2013, but with this specific contract, since about then.

I have built up a decent amount of the inclusive airtime over the last few years, and December, I decided that I would use some of that inclusive airtime to buy a data bundle for the holidays. Imagine my surprise when my debit order for January shows that I paid more than double what I normally would. (R509 vs R210).

Whilst I (now) understand that inclusive airtime cannot be used for bundles, at no time during the bundle purchase was I warned of this. I am really disappointed. I live on a tight budget, and with another child arriving this month, the extra R300 in charges I had to pay leave a particularly bad taste in my mouth.

Why do I pay for inclusive airtime, but I can't use it? Isn't that money technically mine? If you call it inclusive value, then it should be inclusive. If I was on prepaid and I paid the same amount, I would actually get the benefit of the money.

I really am not impressed.

I only have 3 months left until this contract expires; then I'm done. I can't handle fine print and sneaky business anymore.

Please fix this.
