Disappointing customer service
I have recently upgraded 1 of my 3 my contracts with mtn. I have the new samsung s9 this phone has been dropping calls on approach to head office through my branch at durban north who have tried all they can, i was informed i had to give this phone in before getting a replacement in the huewei p20pro. I find this unacceptable and the phone can more than gladly be sent in but my replacement phone should be issued immediately. I have taken this phone out in the last 7 days which expires soon. I am a medical professional amd cannot be without my cellphone. I am now stuck using a phone that is dropping calls.
Thank you for your post.
We sincerely apologies for any inconvenience caused as result of the replacement phone
I tried to contact you twice @ 09:43 and @ 10:09 this morning however I reach your voice mail.
It is insurance that replace an insured phone. Your account shows you have no insurance with MTN (on the number ***).
Unfortunately when booking a phone in at the store, there is a process in place, they have to submit it for an assessment and the repairs department will give them a reference to confirm that the phone can be replaced.
Regretfully we are unable to expedite the matter further.
