Disapearing airtime and/or data

On Monday the 23rd of Jan 2017 I logged a complaint with MTN because around 7 am on the day I had roughly R80 worth of airtime which was loaded on the 21st on my top up contract, I made a call which lasted for less that a minute and after that my airtime balance was 0. I then contacted MTN (Ref: ********** 86) and the consultant confirmed that the system showed that there was R78 balance but after that the system does not show what had happened to the airtime and she told me to phone back in an hour. After an hour I phoned back and was told by another consultant that I had to wait for at least 24 hours I wasn't keen on that and then I spoke to the manager who talked me into waiting for this 24 hours. in the morning on the 24th on Jan 207 (24 hours later), I phoned back and was told that no action or call was lagged on the reference number that I had provided and I told the consultant that I am not prepared to wait for another 24 hours and thus, I requested to speak to the manager, the consultant put me on hold without any notification I then had to drop the call and make another one. During the last call, I was told that there was R20 airtime left from the R78 that was initially wrong and I disagreed with this because while waiting for the 24 hours to pass I resorted to byuing my own data, which I used to do what I needed to do so, what exactly made that airtime to go from R78 to R20? The consultant couldn't explain to me and instead told me to phone their technical number. Having been with MTN for so long I am appalled by their service, their consultants are rude and don't communicate well with clients. I am now expected to just accept that the R58 rand airtime was used by my watsapp and facebook on top of the 50MB which I bought in order to do that. After this experience I have come to a colusion that I cannot afford MTN because for me to go onto Gmail, watsapp and facebook I need approximately R90 worth of airtime in a period of 3 hours. I will have to exclude myself from their services because I am not their target market even after being with them for over 10 years.
