Diabolical Customer Service
I experienced shocking service and real bad attitude from a sales consultant in the MTN store in Capegate Shopping Centre. I am a account holder with three contracts and required a SIM swap. Firstly stood at front if queue and was ignored by all sales consultants. Only one consultant was busy with a customer. Sales consultant beckoned me over and I asked for a SIM swap and to buy a modem. She input my number incorrectly into the system so I leaned forward to look at her monitor only to be told that I was not allowed to look at the screen. I asked why and was told ' company policy'. Fair enough but the her attitude was seriously evident. Next was security questions. No problem, except as we were going though the qurstios her cell phone beeped with incoming message. Mid sentance she stopped with me to attend to her phone. This happened again. SIM swap done and she tried to send me on my way, inspite of me repeatedly telling her I needed a modem As well. Modem reluctantly fetched for me. Maybe poor attitute was because I only spent R299 today. Been a MTN subscriber for 10 years, now spending approx R1700 per month. Today's experience leleft a sour note. First complaint on HP
