In April I bought a Samsung cell and tablet contract at MTN Cape Gate. Within 2weeks my tab would charge intermittently.I took it back to the store. The salesman plugged it in and it charged. I was told there was nothing wrong with my tab, despite me explaining that it happened intermittently.
No one seemed to understand 'intermittently'. I left the store but was back within three weeks with the same problem. They tested the tab and it would not charge!
It was booked for repairs and a week later I got it back, with a report that the charger was faulty. I received a new charger.
Upon inspection of my tab in the store, I noticed the barcoded strip on the back of the tab was missing!
The salesman brushed this off. I found this extremely disturbing.I left the store, and lo and behold, within another two weeks the same problem recurred.
For the THIRD time I took it back to the store. I asked the salesperson if I could take it to Samsung to be repaired, he agreed. The day after I sent it I received quote for R1539 and diagnosis of liquid damage. I dispute this. After a 3rd visit to MTN Cape Gate they reported a faulty charger. I demand MTN Samsung Cape Gate take responsibility.
