Deliberate and Mallicious

After renewing a contract, MTN failed to deliver the agreed apon service. I called the 808 customer help line (as it was an MTN direct upgrade), and was told which department to speak to (after I selected the correct one on the phone menue), that department in turn said it has nothing to do with them, and to call a number at my own cost. Having done that, the person there said I was again in the wrong place and transferred me again, then again I was told I have the wrong department. I had asked to speak to a supervisor who proceded to explain the inner workings on MTN to me. And then said he would send a mail to the correct persons who would contact me back before a set time. That time came and went. I contacted the 808 help line again, and again was explined the inner workings of MTN and lots of appologies again, and went from pillar to post, and at a post in Durban it seems where a consultant told me that the right person to resolve the issue was specific person in Jhb, and would send the supervisor (Tina I think it was ) a mail to contact me back. A week later, and suprise suprise nothing. After being with MTN for more than 20 years its time to shed dead weight and move on. Shame on you MTN!

Hello,

Thank-you for replying.

Allas, yet again I hit the MTN "hard ball" tactic of cutting you off, transferring you to the correct agent only to end up at the main menu again, and when I did get the correct department the correct people are unavailable with loads of prommises to call back. And they dont.

I suspect billboards and legal action is now the only way to be assisted.

MTN did reply, with a request to contact the very same help desk that has been giving the run around in the first place.

Allas, yet again I hit the MTN "hard ball" tactic of cutting you off, "transferring" you to the "correct" agent only to end up at the main menu again, and when I did get the correct department the correct people are unavailable with loads of prommises to call back. And they dont.

I suspected a deliberate delay tactic is afoot here and now I am sure of it.

I believe billboards and legal action is now the only way to be assisted.
