Deleted my Sim card

In June 23rd 2015 I bought blackberry 9720 at CNA and *** was given. I already had SIM card so the new SIM card was used for my 3g MTN modern. Since I was loading data bundles on the ***. On the 1st October I loaded the R260 2GB because I am writing exams and all my classes are on-line. During the October month I could not log on the me and I thought it was network error and I didn't think MTN deleted the SIM card from the network. I only realised that when I was loading data from cell phone banking on the 23rd that something is wrong. I went to the MTN store they said I should call the customer services they won't help. When I call the customer services this morning they told me that the SIM card is not RICA registered and went back to the MTN store. The lady was trying to help me but the system rejected the SIM card has expired and also told me that they delete it only when it was not use for 3 months. I when logged on my bank account to use her that every pay day I buy data for the *** number and then she called the customer services but they told me that there nothing they can do I need to buy new SIM card. There was 750MG + 564MG loyalty data bundles

Hello Setloga,

Thank you for your post

We apologize for any inconvenience incurred.

The line was disconnected due to Access For Life Business rules, which state that for the number to be active on the MTN network you need to make a chargeable call or send a chargeable SMS at least once in 90 days. It cannot be reconnected on the network.

Kind Regards
Siphumezo
